    • Innovative car camping stove

"I do a lot of backpacking and car camping and am always trying to get the best gear for each situation. I recently went on a car camping trip in Alabama with my wife and brother where I got to try out this stove as a Ranger for the Dyrt. Our goal was to put it through a range of camping cooking situations. We grilled up homemade veggie sausages and portobello mushrooms and made a pot of couscous with chickpeas and cut up veggies. We then boiled water for coffee and made quinoa oatmeal for breakfast. Through each task, the stove performed wonderfully not burning a single item but providing enough heat and control to get each dish cooked quickly. One of the coolest parts of the design of this stove is that it doesn't sit flat like most car camping stoves but has enough height that you can easily sit in a chair and have the stove on the ground. It also has an attachment for the gas canisters underneath and they stay attached when packed so you don't have to worry about bringing fuel separately. Finally, the built-in cutting board is a big plus. My only negative would be that the heat control is very sensitive so you may find yourself making minor adjustments to get to the temp you want. Overall I recommend this stove for someone who wants to be able to cook in a variety of situations and wants something that is easily portable and goes quickly from car to cooking. "
